Mersey Buddy Scheme

The aim of the buddy scheme is to pair anaesthetic trainees new to the region (either new appointments or inter-Deanery transfers) with more experienced trainees as a point of contact who they can approach for informal advice and support. This could be insight into how anaesthetic training works, the setup of the Mersey Deanery, advice about starting on-calls, how to use the Lifelong Learning Platform or anything else you can think of!

The buddy scheme is currently running at the majority of hospitals in the Mersey Deanery, so if you are a Core, ACCS Anaesthetics or Specialty Trainee who wants to be buddied up with someone, or a Specialty Trainee who is keen to volunteer then please send us an email at merseybuddies@gmail.com and we will see what we can do!
