Basic Obstetric Anaesthesia Course

Open to all Core Trainees due to start training towards their Initial Assessment of Competence in Obstetric Anaesthesia (IACOA). This course may be taken towards the end of CT1 or during CT2.

Description
The Basic Obstetric Anaesthesia Course is mapped to the Stage 1 syllabus of the 2021 Curriculum from the Royal College of Anaesthetists and consists of lectures and workshops in obstetric anaesthesia.
Trainees do not need to apply for study leave from the Deanery but require local approval from their rota co-ordinator.
